That reminds me. Was wondering the other day if any of you on this site who have been unwitting participants in a variety of ugly marital and custody disputes have gotten network/phone security or privacy help...
I'll add that it really wasn't a big deal. I invited them in, but they said that wasn't necessary. It was really kind of funny because she thought she was really going to mess with me, but it just ended up being a pleasant 30 second conversation with a police officer.
The answer is, of course, don't read as much, but I read ALL THE TIME. Plus I work in a school so I read constantly for my job. Worst of all, I can't see my phone if my contacts are in without putting on reading glasses.
I haven't worn my contacts in a long time. Sadly, now that I'm getting older, if I have my contacts in, I can see far away, but I can no longer see close up to read and I have to put reading glasses on which means I end up wearing glasses anyway!
The first day I wore contacts, my optometrist had to put them in, and later that day it took me what at least seemed like the better part of half an hour to remove them. The next day I thought I'd never get them in.
Now when I go a day without, it's usually because I know I'm going to be working in a dusty indoor environment and won't be needing full fledged safety glasses but don't want the hassle of dusty contact eyes either.
I've been wearing a cheap pair of glasses for the last several months. I'm running low on contacts, and I'm saving them for a rainy day. They're two week contacts, though, so breaking a set out is a commitment.
